Homemade Granola
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together in a big bowl.
  3. Add in extra delicious things, such as but not limited to: shelled sunflower seeds, pepitas, shredded coconut, various other nuts, etc.
  4. Add in your wet ingredients, and stir.
  5. Spread mixture evenly on lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake 30-40 min, turning the granola every 15 minutes
  7. Remove from oven when a nice golden brown color
Recipe Notes

If you plan to add dried fruit of any kind,hold off until the granola is cooked and out of the oven. I learned this one the hard way folks. Burnt and crispy Craisins are NOT a burst of flavor you want in your mouth. Want a slightly different flavor? Add in a couple tablespoons of pure maple syrup, molasses or brown sugar.
